RescueHeat

The RescueHeat rethinks blackout heating with a cordless solution. The indoor-safe fuel provides a boost of warmth while the heat-powered fans spread it through a room. The lid can be opened to expose a grill for blackout cooking. Rocketship created the unique design and layout to accommodate 4Patriot’s fuel canisters with a custom fan assembly in a way that maximizes heat output. The double-layered lid provides a safe-to-touch surface without restricting the flow of heat.

Initial concepts sought to streamline the design as an all-in-one solution that made the product portable and easy to use. Additional features such as the silicone lid grips, the magnetic snuffer storage, the temperature resistant feet, and vent design were all combined into a final concept.

Rocketship tested concepts from the beginning through to production by measuring temperature output and performance from every angle.

The design was prepared for production through the creation of a full 3D assembly model which was used directly in manufacturing.

The RescueHeat has hit the shelves and is already providing life-saving heat in areas that might experience blackouts or unpredictable electricity. The Texas winter emergency of 2021 (which left millions without power for over 72 hours) emphasized the need for alternative heating solutions and the RescueHeat is ready to help!
