The Geigerrig water filter is rated to filter up to 50 gallons of water, removing Cryptospordium and Giardia from any water supply. It also contains activated coconut shell carbon to reduce waterborne chemicals, improve taste, and eliminate odor. Mirigard Antimicrobial Technology stops bacteria, algae, fungus, mold and mildew from growing within the filter media.
