The microbus is a popular vehicle design here at Rocketship and we wanted to take a look at a few alterations to the new VW ID concept car to give it just a little more of the original flavor. Can you spot the differences?
The Volkswagen Microbus is a vehicle filled with memories and nostalgia. Capitalizing on this, VW unveiled an I.D. Buzz concept vehicle with state-of-the-art technology and replete with references to its predecessor. The design was intended to hearken back to the traditional microbus design without directly copying it. The concept was greeted with enthusiasm which may have lead to Volkswagon’s announcement in October that it will be taking the concept to production in 2022.
