The fourth annual exhibition DesignArts Utah ’06 was held by the Utah Arts Council. Designers living in Utah and working in any design field were encouraged to submit their work to be reviewed by this year’s esteemed juror, Susan S. Szenasy. Ms. Szenasy is Editor in Chief of Metropolis magazine based in New York City since 1986. She holds an MA in Modern European History from Rutgers University and teaches design history and design ethics at New York’s Parsons School of Design.

Rocketshp’s entry of a carbon fiber handcycle was selected to be exhibited in the transportation category. The handcycle is one of three prototypes manufactures and represents the only composite handcycle to be developed to date. It has been ridden by some of the nations top hand cyclists.
